Welcome to Rooted by the Water Blog. My name is Shannon Kenley Hinson. In May of this year (2021) I published my autobiography “Rooted by the Water” through Westbow Press. A friend suggested I start a blog as a continuation of my story. My desire is to encourage others and never give up in Life’s difficulties. As a visually and hearing impaired woman, challenges abound at every turn. My book “Rooted by the Water” is an honest transparent look at my life and lessons God has taught me along the way. Jesus is my Anchor that keeps me from drifting in the stormy trials of life. He has given me joy, peace and humor to push through every day. My Goal is to inspire and challenge you to overcome any obstacles that rise up before you. In all honesty I can’t do this BUT with God’s help… ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
