Today I am at the FMCOG (Fort Mill Church of God) Food Pantry. My parents started volunteering here years ago, then I got involved, We have a super team of volunteers who work together serving the community and most of all spreading Gods love. It is an honor to be a part of this ministry.
My Dad loved serving here. He would always talk and pray with the clients when they came in. Seven months ago today, he went home to be with Jesus. We sure do miss him. I’m thankful for the example he set for serving others and being generous.
There are many opportunities to serve the Lord and help in our communities. Check out local churches, organizations and mentoring programs for children. It blesses me so much when I’m able to help someone else. Get involved and make a difference.
