Rooted by the Water

Welcome everyone. This is my first blog post, so bear with me as I learn. My desire is to encourage you all in your daily life. Life is tough and we need each other. As a hearing and visually impaired person, I have my share of struggles. I hope you find my positive, transparent and humorous approach enjoyable. I want to encourage you all in whatever you are facing to NOT GIVE UP!
In May of this year 2021, I released by autobiography “Rooted by the Water” with Westbow Press. What started as journaling things God has taught me and things I never wanted to forget, somehow birthed the idea of writing my life story and things I’ve learned along the way. My faith in Jesus has been an anchor that keeps me from drifting when storms come up in life. God fills my heart with joy and I want to share that with you all. So no matter where you are in life or what you’re facing, you are not alone. You can take root and bloom where you’re planted!

UGHHH…..The Irony

Usually Sunday afternoon finds me working on the upcoming devotion for the homeless ministry. This Wednesday I am planning to teach on thankfulness. The thing is, it’s been…
